The paintings measure 31 cm in height and 25 cm in width, are unframed, and due to their handmade nature, no reworks or revisions are available.

To commission a pet portrait from Val, you simply need to place your order and email a high-quality photo of your pet along with your order number. From that point, the painting will be completed within five to six days. Delivery is free of charge.

About the artist: Val Farrell has spent over 40 years painting Australia’s stunning landscapes and native wildlife. Based in Daylesford, she draws inspiration from the region’s vibrant natural beauty. As a dedicated wildlife advocate and volunteer at the Hepburn Wildlife Shelter, Val’s deep connection to animals is evident in every brushstroke of her pet portraits.

Daylesford artist Lydia Kirk’s evocative artwork captures movement, expression, and human connection through her dynamic and sensual charcoal drawings.
Her custom portraits offer a distinctive and modern aesthetic, making them a perfect gift for anniversaries, birthdays, or any special occasion. She creates custom couple portraits, as well as personal portraits of individuals, whether of yourself, a partner, a family member, or a friend.
Each portrait is drawn by hand on artist-quality neutral beige A4 paper, giving a contemporary and stylish touch. Using black charcoal with white pastel highlights, Lydia’s work features loose, energetic strokes that bring the subject to life.
Ordering a portrait from Lydia is a simple and personal process. Once you have placed your order, you need to email a high-quality photo along with your order number. A 15-minute Zoom meeting will then be scheduled to discuss the details of the piece. Allow about 5-7 days.

About the artist: Lydia Kirk’s work is a celebration of colour, movement, and human connection. Growing up in an artistic environment, she pursued her passion and has since held multiple solo exhibitions, including at The Convent in Daylesford. Lydia shares a studio in Musk with her partner Peter, where she has been teaching life drawing and painting workshops for over a decade.
