Sensory toys and NDIS payments explained

Sensory play encourages children and adults to learn through exploring creativity and problem-solving. Research has shown that sensory play can help build nerve connections in the brain, leading to improved language and motor skills.

Here are our top five picks for neurodivergent children and adults:

 1. Fidget Widget Rocket: This rocket-shaped toy offers multiple sensory and movement options to ease anxiety and aid in maintaining focus.

 2. Doughnut Fidget Spinner: A great distraction tool that can help kids stay focused by using thumb and middle finger to start spinning.

 3. Maze Ball:
A 3D brain teaser that challenges spatial awareness and motor skills.

 4. Unicorn Push and Pop: A stress-relieving and fidget-friendly toy made from durable, washable silicone.

5. Super Sensory Slug: This colorful, bendable slug creates a satisfying clicking sound and is designed to help relieve anxiety and stress.
