Iain “Huey” Hewitson is a New Zealand-born Australian chef, restaurateur, author and television personality, born in Ōtaki, New Zealand, in 1948. He moved to Australia in 1972 and became a major figure in Melbourne’s restaurant scene before becoming one of Australia’s best-known television chefs. He ran or was involved with a number of notable Melbourne restaurants, including Clichy, Fleurie, Champagne Charlie’s and Tolarno Bistro.
